Artistic Direction

Gabriel Amadeus Hahn serves as the co-artistic director of Vocal Asia, one of Asia’s most prominent platforms for pop and jazz choirs, a cappella music, and vocal arts. Under his guidance, Vocal Asia has expanded its activities, reach, and influence, connecting singers, vocal enthusiasts, and instrumentalists across the globe. The organization achieves this mainly through the seasonal course programs of Vocal Lab/Project M, as well as the annual festival camps Vocal Asia Festival and Acappella Youth Camp by the Kehua Foundation. The latter specifically targets diverse youth groups, including Taiwan's Indigenous youth. The festival program encompasses workshops, live performances, panels and competitions . Gabriel's vision emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and cultural exchange, making Vocal Asia a vital hub for vocal artistry in Asia.

In 2024, Gabriel founded Glocal Culture Exchange (家柏文化交流), a Taiwan-based organization dedicated to cultural and artistic exchange. Its kick-off project took place in July 2024 and included a Taiwan-wide concert tour with renowned U.S. jazz vocalists Darmon Meader and Rosana Eckert, featuring some of Taiwan's finest jazz musicians.

Glocal Culture Exchange’s mission statement:
"With a focus on cultural and artistic exchange, performances, and education, we plan related activities to provide participants with deeper and more diverse cultural and artistic experiences and learning opportunities. Using music as a starting point, we aim for a cross-cultural and interdisciplinary development. Our goal is to establish platforms that reach diverse communities, fostering integration among them. These platforms enable people from different communities to connect with each other, to share and to grow, creating an inclusive environment and enhancing the overall quality of life."

韓家柏（Gabriel Amadeus Hahn）擔任 Vocal Asia 的聯合藝術總監，這是亞洲最具影響力的流行與爵士合唱團、無伴奏合唱及聲樂藝術平台之一。在他的領導下，Vocal Asia 不斷拓展其活動、影響力及涵蓋範圍，透過年度 Vocal Asia Festival 和由科華基金會主辦的 Acappella Youth Camp，特別關注包括台灣原住民青年在內的多元青年族群，提供工作坊、表演及比賽等多元活動。韓家柏的願景強調創新、合作與文化交流，使 Vocal Asia 成為亞洲聲樂藝術的重要樞紐。

2024 年，韓家柏創立了家柏文化交流（Glocal Culture Exchange），這是一個總部設於台灣的文化藝術交流組織。其啟動專案於 2024 年 7 月舉行，包括美國著名爵士歌手 Darmon Meader 和 Rosana Eckert 與台灣頂尖爵士音樂家合作的全台巡演。

家柏文化交流的使命聲明：
「以文化藝術交流、演出、教育為核心，規劃相關活動，提供參與者更深入及多元的文化藝術體驗和學習機會，並以音樂為起點進行跨文化及跨領域發展。旨在建立一個跨足不同社群的平台，並促進社群之間之融合，讓不同社群的人們能夠互相連結、分享和成長，進而營造一個共融的環境、提升生活品質。」

透過家柏文化交流，韓家柏持續創造機會，透過音樂這一普世語言，連結個人與社群，促進文化間的理解與融合。
